So, I'm now thinking about the rear of my car. Not sure if this is the one?

Anyway, I'll upload some photoshop'd photos every now and then to see what you think. However, my track car will have the lower recessed area meshed & a diffuser visible.

The twin exhausts shown are factory moulded into the bumper with stainless tips? WTF?

I think gallardo style rear lights would really complement the sharp edges of the vx.

Never saw anything like that style from a regular model though.

lol, Fugly! It's weird, but how cool is it that everyone likes something different? The car below is FUGLY! However, people still bought them and a huge multi-billion board of directors signed it off!

I think the R8 style complements the lines very well, and leaves room for fiddeling.

quick scan on ebay says they are to expensive though.

I love the R8 rear lights with air vents below, that would work well! I also like the CF diffuser, which would probably have to be custom made but to a similar look. I agree with you, the R8 rear lights will also be expensive. Unfortunately for me most of the lights I like are the latest batch of newer LED lights. Also an importantly, I really wanted to use rear light clusters that would allow me to also add a bit of flare from the lights along the sides of the rear wings.

Renault Megane 2016 + rear LED lights

I've not really looked at a late Megane, It's interesting when you actually analyse elements of cars, you see a lot of effort and time has gone into each and every car's design.

The late Megane's lights are stunning, however, I'm really after an edgier, sharper more striking look for my car. I don't want to introduce too many curvy details.

mmmm...they're lush! Just wondering how big they are. I can't seem to find any info on the light dimensions.

Factory specs says car is 1898 mm wide.

Then i broke down the lights on % scale via a photo.

About 7 cm wider then oem.
Much narrower then oem though.

Good photoshop skills thumbsup

I think they are pasted in there a little to big. oem is about 35cm, where the camaro ones are 42cm (20% wider)

I'm not a fan of the black connecting part.

Actually, various Audi, vw, seat & skoda lights seem to appeal the most to me and they are cheap enough to buy & try without worrying too much about cost.

Ah, the old Ferrari Ansa style twin exhaust pipes. Unfortunately, for track day noise control, a single pipe is easier to quieten down. Also, lighter than having two exhaust pipes with twin pipes.

Could you paste them in again in  a smaller scale, then leave some room in between them and the mesh like this?
