Hello from Sweden :)

I bought my Opel Speedster 2,2 NA here in late juli almost august, I compete in Time attack with some other cars so the future plans for the speedster will be to get it ready for the track!

Already done one competition Timeattack Festival, in the swedish series! It's completly stock for now, the only thing is semi slick tyres!

Best regards   rallly

The semi's put more stress on the system then regular tyres.
The toe links are considered consumables, even on normal use.
The last thing you want is a snap at high speed. So stronger toe links are strongly advised. Make sure to check them every year for wear.

On the top side of the hub, it's hold together by 2 upright bolts. These can also a consumable, and wear faster on semi slick usage.
Also have these checked yearly by removing and inspecting them.

Here's a toe link failure.

And another.
