[Nobbymogs]

In my quest to get some new wheels as the NA just dont do it for me i stumbled across a ebay seller close by to me

 

long story short went there today to pick them up and O M F G

 

The stuff she had there was unreal even a VXR in storage plus loads of VX's in bits amongst other cars, turns out her late husband restored classic cars but sadly passed away and now her sons have taken over the helm and she is just selling some stuff off to make room

 

im not kidding guys i had to pick my aw up off the floor she had so much stuff there, about 4 lotus of different flavours for a start  bare shell of a volvo amazon plus lost count of kiddies small replica cars there 

what a find it was like a classic car heaven all under cover the late owner sold a supercharged blue 1 to a local guy to me but then he sold it on

dont know i didnt get to see it as it was in storage although did see 1 of the red vx's in a storage bay that needed a bit of work

Oh dear, if it is him, it's sad to hear when a long standing contributor to the scene dies.

 

Martyn kindly made my wing many years ago, by actually fabricating it in his own mould. It still working fine and stood the tests of time, function and speed far better than most of the bolt on crap on the market. Shame to see him gone.

Ah, spoken to them about parts for my car, they fabricate sills and I asked if they made coupe rears, not been there but surprised such an outfit was there

Doubt it's a Black one, can't imagine someone would publicise having a VXR in storage if it's stolen!
