I've recent bought a VX that has the original (I believe) Blaupunkt San Remo MP26 fitted.

 

Unfortunately the black plastic surround is missing - the part that hides the mounting cage.

 

Has anyone upgraded from stock and still have the Blaupunkt surround available please?

Far better to go and buy a whole new up to date head unit

Was thinking that but it sounds ok with some Focals I've installed and have a sub ready to between the pass seat and angled section covering fuel tank.

 

DAB is hard to make work so no real need to buy an up to date unit as it's good enough and has an Aux input for the phone.

 

A few beer tokens for an old plastic cover seems like a better spend than a new unit, and can spend the saving on seat edge recovering!!
