Hi everyone,
Just purchased a very tidy standard Moonland Grey 2003 VXT with 17500 on the clock.
Just managed to squeeze it in my garage next to my Westfield Megabusa.
Always liked the look of the VX since its launch and having sat in one at a dealership where my sister worked.
Prices look to be holding so thought I'd take the plunge. The cars looks have aged quite well too.
Some of the previous cars I have owned over the years include Renault 5GT Turbo, Peugeot 205Gti, Lotus Esprit S2, Porsche 944, Bmw Alpine B9, Honda Integra Type R DC2, Subaru Impreza P1. L
First impressions of the VXT are its on a par with a standard P1, performance wise. Takes a little getting used to a rev limit of less than 7k but I haven't purchased this to thrash around, that's what the Megabusa is for. I haevnt expored its handling limits yet either, Just want to enjoy topless driving in a car that hopefully will not depreciate.

I remap them to either 7200 if totally standard or 7600 if the balance shafts are removed , with the fairly long gearing that gives 115mph in 3rd gear.

Mine has had a stage 2 remap by MMG. Out of interest, what exactly is the standard rev limit on a VXT?
