My N/A is showing the following codes on my cheap handheld OBDII scanner

P0378 timing reference = high resolution signal B intermittent or erratic pulses

C3F00 manfacturer control

P0312 cylinder 12 misfire !!!! no idea on that

P1900 manufacturer control

Would I be right in assuming there are two crankshaft position sensors? ie A and B for crankshaft position.

the car starts up ok runs fine will even rev no problem from throttle input. After a short time it drops on to two cylinders and into limp mode ie I cannot get it to rev at all just sits there at approx. 1000rpm.

I am hoping someone can a confirm there are two sensors therefore should be sensor B failing when getting hot re code P0378

Or can someone point me in the right direction for finding the z22 codes

there is only the one crank sensor, but the coilpack also provides a signal to the ECU for the ignition timing position

Not sure the reader is getting the correct codes... Eg. P0378 does not exist on the 2.2 AFAIK and P0312 would also be nonsenical on a 4 cyl.

Code list for the 2.2:
