Could someone tell me what the diameter of the rear Griffin badge is please?

I have ordered one online (not VX220 specific) but do wonder whether it is too large?

Many thanks!

just for info;

the vx220 rear griffin badge has an A116 part number underneath the adhesive, so it is a vx220 part only, not borrowed from another model

It's slightly shaped to sit on the vertical crease on the rear clam.

As a matter of interest has anyone thought of getting some vinyl ones made up to replace the original, maybe the new style? Cleaning within the original badge is a pita.

I was thinking of getting the “VX220 turbo“ done in vinyl. There is a guy on SELOC who makes vinyls.

I seem to remember Joe (aka The Batman) had a later style griffin badge on the back of his last VX that came from an Insignia?

Might have made that up though..

Surely a little heat and bending could make a suitable vx220 crease!😁

hmm black would be the obvious answer on a silver car but not sure if it would be too in your face. i'll give it some thought, although cheap enough to discard if it doesn't work.
