Chassis in very good condition, apart from minor damage to anti-roll bar area on one side (not structural)

No crashbox, both sills still on but have damage but repairable

Windscreen is cracked, surround still in place

Roll bar, rear window etc still in situ

Was a 2.2 NA

Happy to provide pictures if you send your email address

Chassis was Cat B write-off

Price £1200 o.n.o.

I'm not necessarily on the market for a chassis, but out of curiosity, can a Cat B chassis be put back on the road somehow ?

Nope, thats the definition of Cat B - it's never allowed back on the road - can only be sold in bits at the most.

can be used a track car, and the Cat B thing doesn't matter outside of the UK. Cat B cars regularly go back on the road abroad

I'm not so sure about that undortunately.

I investigated this a bit (I live in Sweden) and I ended up with it being impossible due to the fact that the british owner don't have the v5 (?) anymore once it goes catB. Without the v5 it is impossible to register it, atleast in Sweden.

How much would a non cat, undamaged chassis be worth?
