Done it on 2 engines...

Best if you have rods / pistons / crank / flywheel etc all balanced at the same time.

Runs smooth and revs like mad....

Me too, when I went stage 4 mmg advised not worth it.

Removing 5Kg of inertia resisting mass in the engine is a good idea IMO, makes the engine much more "snappy".

As a guide how long would it take to fit?
I need a cam belt change in April so considering it at the same time

Allow half a day to take your time clean things up etc, get the correct size tap in and its not a bad job

Definetly frees the engine up

My VXT had it when I took you on track that time, as said above, helps with smoother revs.

 

Worth a call to C-Sport up and ask them to tell you about them.

i can supply the full kits to do this, you get everything like the gasket and new cradle etc.

just to update if anyone is actually interested. 

 

i can supply balance delete kits for the Z20LET which include; new girdle, pickup pipe, baffle, screws and gaskets.. £220 Delivered

 

very easy to install yourself, you just need to be able to get under the car with some decent room.

If anyone is interested, I think the parts are off an X20XEV, you could probably pick them up for £10 or £20 second hand.

 

You're unlikely to need a new gasket BTW, unless you are ham-fisted when you split the sumps; I've opened mine up about 3 times over the years and never bothered with a new one anyway. The key to a non leaky sump gasket is even torque distribution of the sump bolts and good crank case ventilation.
