As it is now getting a bit cold, I've tucked up the VX until it gets a bit warmer in spring.

I thought I'd treat it to an indoor cover and wanted to recommend it, if anyone else is looking for one.

It was £40 from ebay, delivered the next day, is nice and soft and stretchy and best of all colour coded for my car. 😁👍Posted ImagePosted Image

OK so it's nice and red but that's not what a car cover is about.  Three months from now or whenever you take it off, will the dust that's settled on it have penetrated throught the fabric as with so many indoor covers?

I have had a few indoor covers over many years and the garage stored plays a big part

Never had a real issue but used more protective covers when in less friendly garages but tended to just use what was spare :)

Every little helps ;)

But for £40

I've just ordered one. For £40 wtf is there to complain about if it stops the bodywork from getting accidental damage/scrapes from kids and the missus in the garage!

The one for my Evora cost me £200, it fits like a glove, but at £40........

Thats what I thought. There are so many different ones and I always prefer a recommendation 👍

Its got some straps attached to it, but I'd cut then off as they are not needed and could scratch your paint putting it on, on your own.

Adam

It's nice, mine just arrived.

As above, for £40 can't go wrong.. the jag version was nearer £300.

Fits the vx fine and I have a lotus exige s1 wing.

Looks great. I've always used the cheap £20 covers off ebay. They are not the softest, but my car's are always garaged so the cover doesn't blow about to scratch. I have 2 different sizes as i'm always changing cars. The small fitted my VX's lovely though.
