Hi all,

 

Am viewing a lovely VX220 this weekend looking to purchase it, any forum member willing to give it a look-over with me to ensure that there's no hidden surprises please?  Beer vouchers will be available along with my eternal gratefulness....

It's my car so for those of you who do know please feel to post or if anyone wants to join him it's fine.

Eddles....I would offer..but knowing the car from the first week of the present owners ownership it would be a wasted journey..

 

..having driven the car and knowing the owner as well I would have nothing to add except it is a 5 star car and will be well worth the money...

 

..it has one of the tighest steering racks on a Vx for their age ....you will not be let down and there will not be any surprises

 

Im sure others who know the car will support my views...(Where's Wolfstone when you need him?)

 

...if you really do need another pair of eyes I would be available lunchtime'ish on Saturday...PM me..

 

..Giovanni makes a great cup of coffee as well (so Im told) so it would not be a completely wasted journey

Looks to have had the timing chains done which is great. Nice and low mileage. Looks like a good one from the photos/description.

Have decided to buy the car, I am in utter disbelief why no-one has snapped up this car previously - I thought I had no chance when I responded to his ad, as it was up for so long.

 

Bascially, after he did the test drive with me as passenger, I was pretty much like this:
