Footwell Divider Removal

Does anybody know how you remove the footwell divider, I removed the 2 plastics inserts on either side near the gear lever but it still feels firmly attached.
I don't want to damage it by forcing it.

Assuming you already have the centre console out of the way? Once the plastic screws are out of the devider it’s just a pull to the rear of the car and wiggle up and down operation. Quite a lot of force is needed the first time you take the channel cover out.

a suitable large lever can help, make sure it does not damage the alloy divider, so use some rags / wood / plastic / etc
