Does anybody know how easy and what you have to do to remove the roll hoop? It looks quite tight in there and I don't want to do any damage removing it and fitting the new one.

It is not an easy job and you will need to cut some fibreglass to replace the metal roll bar

What are you fitting in its place? A cage? When I fitted my cage I just cut the roll bar in half and took it out. Have you cut the rear window frame off it yet?

rear Firewall Needs to be separated from the Cage and the sill uprights/B column. the B column is also glued to the roll bar above the door latch. to physically get it out once undone youll need to bend open one B column enough that the Cage Slips out, and inevitably the material cracks/breaks, although it usually gives/breaks enough to allow getting the roll bar out without breaking completely off. after removal/reinstallation a bit of fiberglass on the backside should be enough to make it cosmetically acceptable again. it will need painting though

If you're not going to use it again just chop it in half, no body damage then, you can use a wire to cut the window frame/firewall off
