Try another throttle body and perhaps another MAP sensor

TB seems to work fine (you can hear it working with ign on and throttle pressed). MAP sensor was replaced for new (Bosch) about a year ago. Done not many miles since then.

get a digital volt meter and measure the resistance across the full arc, do this slowly whilst monitoring the readings, check both scales.

If the resistance is not totally smooth then the TB is worn out and needs replacing, it will fluctuate in the mid range if duff.

I had a similar issue to yours and it turned out to be a single pin in the ecu that had corroded. Although it sounds like you have already checked this.

I've tried to clean all the connector out, but my luck with this car, could be as simple as a sh*tty pin..

Mine was off the road for a year as I couldn't figure out what was wrong and got fed up. Hope you get yours sorted before the spring at least!

Do you keep yours outside/not garaged. That was my problem, moisture got in everywhere even with a car cover on.

Is this different than logging in OBDT?

Nah, it lives outside, but I've had all my VX's living outside (about 8 years now), and no real issues other than the usual.

Could we be a corroded pin, but hopefully its not off the road for a year! I'd rather sell it!
