I'm come across a couple that won't work on vx220s. They are a pain in the backside as really you need to remove the rear clam which is not normal for any car even Lotus cars. If they leave the clam on it's really tricky to get the outlets lined up right and then you'll have your customer moaning you scratched the clam. One of the ones I know is a race system fabricator so they aren't idiots but will not work on a road VX.

Don't expect a tullet to fit perfectly; mine touches the rear part of the tray. I asked tullets to fix it and they wanted an extra 600 quid to correct their own work. Nice.

Which system do you have? 2.5 or 3 inch? And is it turbo?

I ask because they tell me they are different. I have seen threads on here about bad placement of the lambda sensor bungs but apparently those issues have been resolved.

Only problem we had with our 2.5” n/a Tullett was the header flange stud holes needed some easing. Otherwise it went together well and had plenty of clearance everywhere, even with insulation wrap. Lambda points matched OEM positions. Works well, sounds and looks great. Tullett’s problem seems to be quality control. You’d think, after all this time, they could make them in their sleep. Maybe that’s the problem!
