it really depends on the overall condition of the car, a totally mint car could be worth that amount. If it needs some work then the price is perhaps a little too much.

It's impossible to value without seeing it. It's ok to say its too expensive based on the mileage and price only but VX220s are knocking on now and quality of cars is so variable that you have to look at them to gauge it. You could go see one with the same mileage for £13000 but if it needs 4k spending on it to make it as nice as the £15000 one which is actually better value? for the last few years we have sold "expensive" VX220s but the highest prices ones would have taken many thousands of pounds of spending to get an average or rough car to the same standard. Many many times did we see people walk from ours only to see them pop up knee deep in huge spends in many cases spending huge sums more than they could have just bought a nice one for.

Not punting for trade as we have no Tubbies on site currently. The last one we had is departing for Germany shortly.

The market will decide ;)

I hope he gets a good price. They are all criminally underpriced to me.

it does not look too bad, but no interior photos

Rear exhaust trim is missing, front V is painted body colour black and so are the rear spats :poke:

Well it's got a hardtop (worth £700 to our Euro pals) and it's a dealer sale so you have to value the backup you would get bearing in mind these are old cars. Those two things together are worth £1500 at a minimum maybe more if you did get an issue that was subsequently fixed.

3 and 6 if fault can be proven or rather disproven at point of sale.

Well actually the warranty is whatever the dealer chooses to offer but there a few statutory rights that kick in. Thankfully not an area I'm all that clued up on.

How on earth would you prove it

Sounds complicated. It’s the risk we all take when we buy second hand cars imo

Well that's the thing. Potentially messy but usually such things are just easier to sort for people and it's always good PR to boot.

If you can box it up and send it to Europe they have slightly longer arms and shallower pockets than we do over here.
