looks great thumbsup My local dealer and a few other body shops won't touch the hardtop as they say it is plastic so it is nearly impossible to get the paint to stick. :(

The front grill was rusting, so the plastic coated a new one for me under warranty and at the same time sprayed my V, in exchange for 20 quid they owed me. :D
The wheels had a rough edge/casting burr a the back of the spokes that started to corrode, they were re-furbished under warranty, so I had them colour coded, after they de-burred them. :groupjump:

The window frame they sprayed for 116 quid, after speaking to lotus about the type of undercoat etc.

All pretty effortless really......Warwick Shurbrook Imnotworthy

so is the car (plastic),
my local dealer (the other Warwick Shurbrook at Diss) sprayed mine. Any problems I would take it back under 1 years workmanship warranty, that I would expect to get from any good paint shop. :D

Looks the dogs, Bob. Wicky any paint shop worth their salt should know how to paint your hardtop! Shop around you should be able to get it done for less than £150 tops!
