Anyone got a spare oil cooler insert for an NA that they are willing to part with at a reasonable price?

The part is the screw in sleeve that holds the sandwich plate down that requires the unique tool

I have had two sudden blow outs of the graphite gaskets and am at a loss as to what's going on. Thinking my insert is maybe warped slightly????

So anyone got a good condition spare that they are willing to send to Australia?

Surely unlikely to be the insert that is warped?

Have you checked your oil pressure? In the past people have suffered from the pressure relief valve sticking in the oil pump.

No idea, was hoping to try a burger with the lot before I lunch an engine.... I think my plan is as follows. Bought oil gauge and adaptor, fit up when arrives to check oil pressure... (Maybe relief valve?)... Then if that's ok, get the insert turned on a lathe for flatness...

Sounds a good plan. Oil pressure relief is at 8.5bar iirc. If it's over, think some people have mentioned 10 bar in the past, that could be the issue.

Not sure on the circuit but could a blocked oil cooler cause the issue as well? Could try looping the pipes out.

It's possible. Actually measuring and checking pressure should tell me if there's a problem..... Come on international shipping!
