Hi all, so I got to changing the bulbs of my headlights fo X-Treme Vision bulbs and I had a good look at the headlights - the projector lens seems cloudy.  I recall when I had my Volvo V50, a common problem with that car was the dipped beam projector lens would get cloudy and significantly reduce the quality of the lights - in fact my V50 had a MoT advisory due to poor headlight quality.  Luckily, it was easy to remove the lens from the headlight housing without taking it apart, cleaning it with glass cleaning cloth, this improved the lights massively and made it so much safer to drive.

I presume it won't be as easy to do this with the VX220 headlights, I'd have to remove the front plastic lens to be able to access the projector lens?  Or is there a way to do this without removing the outer plastic lens, as I'm not keen on separating £1,000 headlights?  Cheers!

much easier to take the front lens off than the rear cover, however the projector output will be poor regardless of whether they're clean or not.
