Hi all, I've brought an A209 DUO dashcam and a hardware USB socket for charging my mobile phone without needing the cigarette lighter socket, so I need a switched live, permanent live and earth connections - doing a search on the forum brings up plenty of suggestions, but which is the best place?

Any other electronics stuff I can add in or other work I can do while I have the dash apart?

Many thanks!

Run wires through one of the grommets behind dash to the fuse box & use piggy back fuse holders.
Can’t remember which fuses are which but should be straight forward to figure out which are perm live and which are switched live

Stereo has it all... would seem like an ideal location to me :)

Best thing to do is take a switched live and let it feed a big solonoid and then take your power off that.

Worth a try but would depend on quality of wiring suppression on the dashcam. A poorly suppressed connection would likely cause FM noise interference
