Help - Wheel Security Bolt Socket

Hi all,

 

does anyone have one of these?  Mine is damaged and I cannot get a wheel off..

Your options include smashing a socket onto the security bolt, or contact mcgard for a replacement key.

There are a few patterns so it’s not as simple as just getting hold of another one, it has to be the right one. Stick a pic up and you may get lucky with a local owner if not then almost any tyre place will sort you out . Mcgard sell replacements and are pretty easy to deal with.

As above, but I just used a wheel bolt removal tool, all out in 20min.

A big F/O hammer and old socket banged over the bolt sorted this out - per Ormes advice above.
