I've never seen a rabiata red vx. Looking at images it seems to vary greatly depending on the light. In some photos if looks quite pearlescent, some it looks like a deep red (opposed to a more orangey red) while in others it looks quite brown. And I've heard it described as such.

Are there any more common cars that use a similar colour? In some photos it looks similar to the dark metallic red Alfa paint everything in nowadays.

Mines Rab

I would describe it as similar to the alfa red.

It does look different under differing light situations but never brown, sometimes a purple hue.

Not sure if this website will help with the different colours:

That does help, thanks. Looks great in those photos.

The colour looks quite different in this thread. It looks more metallic and darker like the Alfa metallic red I mentioned or even the red that every F-type seems to have been ordered in

Ive got a rab red and its pretty nice, as red goes... Given how the calypso red ages to pink, its the only red that the VX loogs good in. Check out my build thread for a fair few photos

On the flip side ;)

Rabiatas seem to suffer more osmosis than other colours

And

Rabiata looks just the same as Calypso with a good helping of dirt :)
