Currently in the process of changing the rocker cover gasket got everything undone and out the way but struggling to unclip the black plastic cover that sits on the lip. Do I need to go in through the wheel arch to access it? How is it retained? Watched a YouTube vid of the process and they just seemed to loosely clip it back over the top but mine seems to need a lot of force.

Freed it up eventually it just hinges to the right. Needed to use the cam cover to help lever it across and up at the same time.

All steam cleaned and back together and no more weaping oil into spark plug wells. 🙂
