ok thanks my turbo drain is in pretty good nick. do they tend to fail on tbe slightly flexy part ?. The vxr one has a rubber section right ?

not the drain , the failure is on the supply hard pipe , it has only one securing bracket brazed on , the vxr one has two securing brackets

ah sorry i miss read. yes i understand, the feed pipe that runs from near the bottom of the block, around the sump and upto the turbo. good info - cheers
