I've recently been mulling over CNC routers with a view to machining wood and maybe aluminium if possible. I know there are some proper cheap ones with acme screws and then better ones with ball screws etc. I thought I'd ask if anyone on here has got one (spindle or router type) and what they think of it. Its just curiosity at the moment with a view to pattern making etc.
