I'm sure this has been discussed to death, but I am wondering whether I could use aluminium bolts and zinc coated clips for the engine undertray and rear diffuser?
Cheers!

Before understanding galvanic corrosion, I used S/S and managed to corrode the tray slightly.
I now use BZP washers, spire/c clips and button heads, all with a bit of copper slip.
I assume you are considering aluminimum due to corrosion resistance, but they could be a total and utter nightmare if you strip the threads, which is likely over time with alu.
I would do as I do but hey, what else am I going to say

Ormes - sounds ideal to me! What about the bolts themselves - mild steel, BZP, or stainless?

I just use BZP everything, including the bolts

I use the quick release fasterners that A4 bolt man does. Can't remember his website to post a link but they are great IMO. I think these are a plated steel clip with a chrome plated steel pin which also has a nylon washer.
