Hi. Hopefully joining the Vx crowd on the rd soon. Is there a common place/ site people hit up for parts , extras etc,oem stuff. To make the car as factory original plus optional extras to make it look showroom ready?

Both vauxhall and Lotus abandoned the vx in 2015 by dumping whatever they had left.
So make sure to get your hands on an as complete and oem car as possible if that is your goal, as parts are scarce.

Contact Joe (batman) for any pro alloy, tullet or other shiny bits. He also has a fair few OEM parts from stripping cars.
Also you'll need him for supercharging if you go that way.

also some lotus parts (europa and elise) are generic - see deroure and look for parts starting with 116

also autovaux and vauxhall have some parts available (not cheap !!!) search this site for "parts diagram" theres a post with a link to parts diagrams and part numbers
