Just getting bits a pieces sorted in the garage as part of the upgrade work, and noticed a hand stamped number on the mating face of the cylinder set head. Code is
40440 005
It’s a modified head, but anyone know what the code signifies?

the only person I know who stamped numbers onto cylinder heads was the Doc, so possibly an ex TMS part
