From all the comments I’m seeing. Although I do want it to have residual value, as I did plan to sell in a couple of years to invest in a flat.(once I’ve saved a bit more)

I am mostly looking for driving pleasure. So it’s supercharged for me I reckon

Think of it like a women!

NA - can get a bit boring
S/C - a bit more go but predictable
Turbo - can get a bit wild

Drive a turbo with one of Steve TeamVXRacing maps before rejecting a turbo

If you're not in an immediate rush get to the national, I'm sure people will give you a pax ride, although track driving is not a real reflection of road performance, they seem a LOT faster on road

I might upset you all now.......

I test drove an Elise 111s today, I think I’m going to buy that. Just going to sleep on it before making the decision

111s check which gearbox it has , its even better with a close ratio , but then you lose the originality

I think the best combo is 160 with CR , VVC and LSD , of the Rover options

I was going to buy a 111R, but bought my turbo, absolutely the right decision to buy the VX

Great cars, you'll love it!

Just don't try a Tubby or a SC'ed VX after buying the Elise.. you might end up loving the Lotus less!

I’ve already tried the supercharged vx. Although the Elise was not as quick, it just felt more right.

Had a lot more pull than I expected and the handling!!! I felt more confident in it than the vx

Bought the turbo VX because it was considerably cheaper than a 111R and had more power standard,
