Anyone got the race TCS working with abs disconnected? Tried mine at track day at the weekend ( well my son did) and he reported misfire with TCS enabled and abs disconnect ( yellow wire cut)

I'm assuming so, wasn't driving, but track dry and warm and wouldn't have expected it to kick in, my son wasn't driving it too hard so shouldn't have been slipping, maybe it was? I wasn't driving that day son's birthday treat. It was on the max setting though

Hi,
Yeh I use TCS on track days, I have it wound quite high on dry days, about 30% slip and have 2 wires cut on the abs.
It does kick in still, but very minor as expected.
I take it you have disconnected the abs on the correct side of the signal wires to the TCS?

 Hi Ivor,

As above, you disconnect the ABS from the wheel sensor but leave the Race TCS system still connected to the sensors (I assume that you have done this anyway). I do find setting number 1 is too sensitive though (it will cut in just from the deformation of the tyres from hard acceleration sometimes). I have found setting number 3 is ideal for the dry for me. I did also tweak the settings on the program a little, (assuming Jacek used the same base map for all of us) you can wind back the fuel cut settings a fair bit which smooths out the effects of the system, and improves the response a bit.

I think so, cut the yellow wire at the abs unit

Thanks for This, had it set on setting one I think will try again and adjust
