Outstanding Calypso red VX220 Turbo for sale.
It’s a 2003 car with 63K miles - amazing condition.
Good features:

- Occasionally difficult to engage reverse – have had it checked and there’s nothing worrying, just a bit stiff to engage.
- Alloys are not in bad condition but would benefit from a refurb to bring the visual appearance of the car up to 100%. I can arrange this prior to collection at the buyers cost.
- Small crack in bodywork on drivers side wing (shown in photos).

The car is hugely reliable and wants for nothing other than to be driven. To my knowledge it has never been tracked and the visual condition would suggest it has never lived outside either… Paintwork is excellent; no signs of bubbling or osmosis and only a few age related marks and the usual front end stone chips that these cars pick up.
The previous owner had the cylinder head skimmed, head gasket replaced and timing belt changed so no major maintenance work is required for the foreseeable future. All of this work is detailed in receipts and print outs. For peace of mind I also had tuning specialists Ecotune perform a full engine inspection including compression test and dyno run when I bought the car. The graph shows a very healthy 211bhp – this is on the stock map.
The car is located in East Kilbride – just outside of Glasgow but I can meet within any reasonable distance or collect potential buyers from stations/airports. No test pilots but I will happily take serious buyers for a drive. More photos available on request - still to add interior shots.
