Hi all, been lurking on the forum for a few weeks now and picked up a 2003 Silver NA car just ove a week ago. 93k miles so a little loved, but all the right boxes got ticked for a weekend/trackday car.

Flew over to Edinburgh to pick it up (I live in N.Ireland) and it drove great. Few war wounds but I can live with that.

Welcome to the family, looks like a mighty fine VX in the photos!

Enjoy and be safe out there

Looks great.

Can't go wrong with that.

Don't worry about the miles, if the engine is looked after. People forget these 2.2's haul Vectras and Signums up and down the motorways for hundreds of thousands of miles, so in a VX they aren't stressed.

It's got turbo front lights, what's at the back? The turbo lights are all black while the NA lights have silver inserts.

trying to upload more pics mate but same deal at rear lights wise.

I feel I did pretty well. It was the cheapest VX in the country, came with EP 2 piece discs front and back, braided brake lines and vibra tech engine mounts. Anywhere Ive been poking looks solid so happy on that front. Few silly things to fix but can work with that!!

have some mods lined up too:

- ITG ind kit

- de-precat

- VSE rear box

- 2.4 inlet mani

- piper cams

aesthetics wise it needs some paint, front clam and doors if I can get away with it. Have added a front splitter and will likely get a turbo spoiler and possibly vents too.

Looks lovely and turbo lights are nice contrast to the silver paint! Thats a committed viewing as well flying to Edinburgh from N Ireland - fair play that man, I though dodging bank holiday traffic on the M4 was an effort!

If you are looking at power mods and are new to these engines then I'd suggest you look at supercharging. Best bang for buck mod.
