2001 Y reg in rare British racing green and one of the first 250 cars produced

I’m only the second owner from new, the first owner had it 16 years (Tony -here on the forum) and me for the last 2 and a half. Absolutely everything has been documented on this car from new!

49,000 miles

MOT - April 2020 (passed with no advisories)

This car comes with a perfect service history, it has been serviced 14 times at Martin Rumble Vauxhall Nuneaton. I had it serviced by Vocky in June 2018 and I’ve only covered 500 miles since.

Absolutely everything has been documented on this from new - I have masses of paperwork including all of the invoices for any work undertaken and all MOTs since the car was new, I even have the original sales brochure.

I have put a lot of work and money into this car over the last 2 years bringing it up to the current standard.

The new owner can have peace of mind that all significant items have been replaced/upgraded. All mechanical works have been undertaken by Vocky, main works include:

New suspension : new Bilstein stocks/springs from Elise s2 (spring rates front 228 lbs/in 41 N/mm and rear 285 lbs/in 51 N/mm)
New Bridgestone tyres all round
Timing chain replaced - all oem parts used
Full respray (front and rear clam) so bodywork is mint
Piper manifold with sports cat and Miltek exhaust - original manifold was cracked.
New disks and pads all round (mtec black drilled and grooved discs, mintex pads)
ITG carbon fibre Induction kit
New turbo spoiler and front splitters
Rear diffuser
Replaced bonnet grills as originals were dented
Full interior carpet and green leather re-trim to door cards and dash trim

Not a cat registered car

I have 2 keys

The car has never been tracked and has been garaged during the winter with only dry Summer use

For the right price, the car can also come with a few spares such as a spare drivers seat, rocker cover, replacement rear lenses.

Vocky can vouch for the condition of this VX and how easy it is to work on.

£11,950 ono

Thanks

Cheers, will probably regret it down the line but can’t justify keeping it in current circumstances

Si

Retrim was a diy job using material from www.as-trim.co.uk

Bonnet grills aren’t too bad if you work your way around each one carefully and protect paintwork with masking tape or similar. I didn’t do any paintwork damage as the bonding is fairly low down in the bonnet recess.if the grills are scrap I would cut away from the middle of the grill and pull down around the edges as you work your around.

New grills bonded in with tiger seal, fairly easy if you clean/scrape away the old adhesive first
