Had A Great Idea For Sealing Headlights

this is a moldable tar-like weatherseal which doesn't dry doesn't stag or leak and you can mould it into a long strip to run along the headlamp seem.
Maybe one strip behind the lens then fill the edges after pressing the lens on. simply press the headlight back on and it will spread and weatherproof and seal the headlamp but also means removal should be quite easy to I have seen something like this before fixing the cellophane weatherproofing on the inside of the main door cards on other cars.

This could be a great solution and really simple to do, also makes opening them up again straight forward.
Am sure this stuff is real sticky too like tar.

I've just bought a vx220 and this will be my first job so I'll let you know how it goes.

Thoughts ?
