My lights are out at the moment for polishing and LED bulb upgrade, and whilst out I wanted to fit my HiD kit. I fitted one to my NA many years ago and don’t remember it being terribly taxing, however my kit just has a red and a black spade connector - do I need to cut the OEM plug off the end coming out of the car and marry the wires up?

Ignore this, found my old thread from NA with the wiring colours and instructions on - all fitted just need to find a good way to insulate each terminal from the other one, maybe simple electrical tape but hoping for a better more failsafe option.

Just get a small section of heat resistant sleeving (usually some form of impregnated glass fibre sleeve) and cut to size then slide over the connection/connectors to keep them separate and happy.
