My VX for sale.

2003 Vauxhall VX220 2.0 16v Turbo, Calypso Red. HPI clear.
The car has covered 58,375 miles at the point of sale. 4 former keepers.
Invoices & receipts going back to 2005 when the car was bought through Vauxhall approved Network Q. All receipts in an organised folder. Full service history including 14 stamps in the original service book. Original Vauxhall Owner’s Manual in leather wallet and original hard top with instructions and installation key. 2 sets of car keys.
The car has been kept mostly to original specification with the exception of a Thorney Motorsport exhaust and a Courntney Motorsport Stage 2 remap (245bhp with printouts). These both enhance the engine and most owners see this as the sweet spot in performance.
I have owned the car for 3 years in which I have never taken it on track and saved it for good weather only. I have driven less than 1000 miles each year and have continued with its regular servicing at Neil Garner Racing, my most local specialist. The car was serviced and MOT’d in May and the MOT is due for renewal at the end of May 2020. I also had the cam belt and auxiliary belt replaced at this most recent service.
In my 3 years of ownership I have replaced the most common failure items:
New hub carrier bolts
New side engine mounts
New Bilstein shock absorbers.
New Turbo oil return pipe
Stainless steel nut and bolt refresh.
The car needs nothing apart from driving. Everything works as it should with no faults.
Wheels / Tyres:
Original VX220 turbo alloy wheels, recently refurbished. Correct sized Bridgestone Potenza tyres all round. The tyres have good tread and are not old and cracked.
Bodywork:
Calypso red paintwork. The paintwork in great condition and polishes up very well.
There is the odd stone chip and a couple of minor signs of osmosis but generally the body work looks spot on. Soft top included in very good condition. A Stormforce car cover will also be included in the sale.
Interior:
Black leather original seats with very little bolster wear.
Aluminium passenger footrest. Pioneer Bluetooth headunit fitted with hands free. Original VX220 carpet mats
