Its the LSJ one so the belt has an extra rib. You'd need to swap the alternator pulley too. Good to reduce SC belt slip.

the six rib pulley is an OEM part, just use the inner five ribs

Yes, and as your SC is allready 6rib, only the alternator pully would need swapping for the final 6rib conversion.

Untill then run a 5 rib belt.

How does that work, as all M62's were for cobalts running 6rib?

What benefit, if any is there to running 6rib throughout?

Closer to absolute OEM spec for the SC?

Just for reference, the 6 rib pulley has a slightly thicker and wider 'inner' legs..
 
If like me, you've got a tool to lock the z22se pulley, it will not fit the 6 rib pulley without modification.. :huh:  :wacko:

Don't worry.. got the 6rib fitted and torqued up and seems to be bang on!
