you need to unlock it to work on other cars dont you?

Hi it in Doncaster he has the 4 digit code but it was running on an Astra coupe so I’m hoping they will still be interchangeable I can’t see why they wouldn’t be

What is the outcome on the immobiliser coding? To my knowledge OBD disables the unpairing function annd it's not easy to swap over and program the ecu's into other cars...
(swap ecu together with the immobiliser + key chips)

(swap ecu together with the immobiliser + key chips)
You can send it to Peter and he will do it for you, this is what I did when I purchased a Dutch ecu off somebody else
