Tragic, any loss of life is one too many. My thoughts are with Luke's family, along with the passenger's also.

Hard to find the right words but he is in all our thoughts along with his nearest and dearest.

Its been a long time since I have been on the forum but I feel I needed to come on to remember Luke.
I heard about his passing while I was out with Oliver shopping and it just stopped us in our tracks. Luke was a local lad to me and I saw him at pretty much every car show I went to up here and he was always full of life and smile, one of the really good guys. Last I saw him he was with Frankie and their new baby girl and he was so proud to be showing her off.
My favourite memory of Luke is at Croft at a VX220 National when I worked there. I knew the circuit well and had just finished my time in Time Attack and Luke asked me to take him out in his car to show him round. It was before the body conversion but after his Dutch software and by heck it was quick. I truly frightened the pair of us from pit lane to paddock; we only did two laps if I remember but we did overtake a slower car using the concrete on the outside of Esses Out.
Frankie, you are still VX family and we are all here for you at this awful time.

Mike, that is the best tribute to Luke I have read. Thank you for sharing your feelings and experience with us. He was a special guy, demonstrated by the universal reaction to his sad passing.

my condolences....
Sad to read. Always had a big love for people tinckering their vx's / speedsters. Little bit like the Paul Walker history.....driving away in it's white Supra...

Apologies for the thread bump but I just wanted to come on to offer my condolences. Haggi was a top lad, I met him at a few meets and was always good crack.
A sad loss and my thoughts are with his family and friends.
