I think, in these turbulent times, that we must open our hearts to those deeply affected by the overwhelming result of this election

Pray-For-Lily.jpg

I guess, as this is a twatter tag she will no longer see our public support for her but maybe one of her friends will let her know that she's continually in our thoughts.

Christ on a bike! Lilly can just fook right off to North Korea and sing songs to Kim. A match made in Heaven!

Hayley, well I'm just glad I don't work for her company and the bloke going on about no more NHS for his kids has just proved perfectly why we need Darwin back.

In other news. Boris won and the world did not end and the sky did not fall in. Moving on...

This morning has been hilarious, listening to Sir Keir Starmer and Lady Nugee trying to out "working class" each other, whilst not burning their bridges with Momentum, in their headlong rush to get the top job.

Yup, just what Labour need to get back into contact with their "working class" voter base in the Midlands and the North, some more titled white privileged condescending remainer metropolitan liberal elite London MP's. :beat:

So who are the unions going to put their weight behind, seeing as its pretty clear the country doesnt want to go back to their glory days of years gone by?

Seems pretty clear from what i have read if they stick with a Corbynista/Momentum supporter most prominent ex Labour Mp's seem to think the party will be wiped out.

Had to laugh, apparently SNP’s Blackford got upset with Boris playing with his phone & not listening to him. Think I’d do the same.

Does the SNP actually do anything in Scotland other than continuously bang on about Indyref2,  something I remember Sturgeon she would not ask for at the time she was elected

Does the SNP actually do anything in Scotland other than continuously bang on about Indyref2,  something I remember Sturgeon she would not ask for at the time she was elected

Education system in crises, student attainment falling, record number of teachers leaving - devolved power to Holyrood

NHS waiting times worst they have ever been, chronic under-funding (they put less % in than Westminster does to England) - it's a devolved power to Holyrood

Police in tatters, lack of public confidence, statutory oversight body at odds with SNP Govt. over approach/standards etc - it's a devolved power to Holyrood

Fire service not happy - devolved power to Holyrood

Local authority cuts (austerity) more savage than under Tory government in England - it's a devolved power to Holyrood

I pay 5% more Income tax to live here than my peers who work in England for the same company doing the same job - it's a devolved power to Holyrood

Holyrood marvels at the fact that every year it underspends its full budget allocation by some £500m (see point re Austerity above) per annum

Deficit in Scotland is 7 times higher than the whole of the UK (Scotland created between 54% and 60% of the whole UK debt last year! - (Scottish Governments own GERS figures were the source)

All of the above is demonstrated by the SNP Government that it is in fact not their fault, but Westminsters and those bloody Englanders (but we're not racists, it's all just banter, we love (your subsidies) really

So. To answer your question Paul directly. They don't seem to be doing a lot, certainly not a lot of good!

But as Mel Gibson would say, "they (Westminster) may deny us Section 30, but they'll never take.... OUR FREEDOM!"

I must admit it i did have to chuckle yesterday watching some live house of commons yesterday, a load of mp's now complaining the bill has now been stripped down even further, workers rights (ring a repeating bell anyone) alignment and other such stuff, one tory mp replied, you all had the chance to support the original bill, but you gambled and failed!!

Welcome to Boris World. Used to be called Parliament or Palace of Westminster. Ben is the only name bigger than Boris’ . Boris has already squerred that goofy intern causing her to lose her job cause she gambled with out smarting him. All those Chukker Amonia MPs who flitted about from one party to another have been booted out too. Boris World won’t take any shite from anyone.

I can see Parliament TV viewing figures soar as he puts down anyone that even thinks about voting against him.

Loved that photo of him during the opening of parliament, walking along beside a even more miserable than usual Corbyn. It was that naughty boy smile that said so much. I almost felt sorry for Corbyn, for a second.
