Hi,

I've just measured the output of my pump by filling a fuel can of 10Liters with the fuel return line (with the engine running idle).

It took 5min20 to fill it. 112l/h, it feels a bit low, is it a normal output for the original pump, or my pump is starting to die ?

Thank you.

112 Lt/Hr is ok, it will be higher anyway as some of the pumped fuel is burnt, also at higher RPM the voltage will rise slightly which will also increase flow.

As long as you are not getting and starvation issues or an unusual sound signature it should be OK

:)

Thank you for your reply, really appreciated. ;)

I have fuel starvation in long left hander with low fuel level, I bought a pro alloy tank, that I will mount this week and if this issue is not resolved, I will certainly bought you one of your pumps.

That's a known issue with VXT, fuel starvation in left handers low fuel level

fuel return line flow will be limited by fuel rail pressure regulator , which is linked to manifold vacuum/boost

If you have invested in a PA tank, I would be tempted to upgrade the fuel pump at the same time anyway. It’s a much easier job to do while the tank is out.
