Just passed it MOT with no advisories 08/01/2020

You can make it pop and bang to your hearts content if that's your thing, at the moment it only pops once or twice if you let off the gas suddenly at high rpm after full throttle.
Has always used some oil but it hasn't increased in 15,000 miles of use Forged engines are known to use some oil.
You're welcome to do a compression test, it goes to 12 bar.
This engine costs around £8,000

Gearbox is an F23 SG with 4.17 final drive for shorter gears. Although it will still do 40mph in 1st gear.

Consumables:
Front Tyres 195 45 17 R Hankook V12 with 7 mm tread remaining
Rear Tyres 225 45 17 R Hankook V12 with 5.5 mm tread remaining
(The V12 is a great all round tyre)
Front brake discs: Recently new zinc coated Padig brake discs
Rear brake discs: Recently new zinc coated Padig brake discs
Front brake pads: Carbon Lorraine RC5+ 50% worn
Rear brake pads: Carbon Lorraine RC5+ 25% worn
Brake fluid: Motul RBF 660 with a 325 degrees Celsius boiling point
Clutch: I believe was replaced about 30,000 miles ago
I'm happy to fit new standard brake pads all round before sale.

Condition:
Interior is one of the best you will find - fully refurbished in leather with red stitching by a Bentley worker.
Exterior is in fair condition - it's 18.5 years old and has some marks
I've included photos of the exterior cosmetic marks
The front has stone chips
Headlights can fog up slightly when wet and could do with refurbishing
Roof window top seals can leak slightly if left out in heavy rain
New battery just fitted to the car and new key fob batteries
Key torch works

Comes with locking wheel nut, two keys and toe eye

I've used it on track about 10 times over 3.5 years.

I'm being completely honest, absolutely love the car and never thought I would put it up for sale. But I really like the S3 Elise and feel like it may be time for a change if someone wants this car.

Price: £14,000 because this has to be worth as much as a Turbo!

I have weighed it, 870kg with me in it and a full tank of fuel. I weigh 65kgs.

I weighed it a while back on the royal mail truck scales in Chelmsford. It weighs the front first then the rear. I can't remember the numbers but I do remember it being near exactly the claimed kerb weight.

Ok...870 minus 65 (you), minus 25 of fuel means about 80/90 of weight savings... But what has been done to reduce weight...
Flywheel, exhaust, balancing shafts, intake manifold and air box...
What else ??

I'm fairly certain I remember reading in the literature that the NA is 870kg with full tank and 68kg driver. But I weighed it several years ago so don't remember the numbers, just remember being very pleased with the weight as my previous MR2 roadster which I used the same scales for came out around a tonne.

The official weight is without driver and fuel...
When stock mine was weighted at 864 kg in these conditions.

You're right, I've actually got the brochure the car was sold with and it says 875kg excluding driver. I know it was around 870kg and my knowlege tells me that kerbweight means dripping wet with a 68kg driver if I remember correctly, so Vauxhall was naughty calling it kerbweight.

Mine with all the SC gubbins, harnesses, TDs a full tank of fuel minus about 15 miles use was 892.5kgs. Weighed at HPE on corner weighting scales. 870 doesn't sound unreasonable without driver.

You're right, I've actually got the brochure the car was sold with and it says 875kg excluding driver. I know it was around 870kg and my knowlege tells me that kerbweight means dripping wet with a 68kg driver if I remember correctly, so Vauxhall was naughty calling it kerbweight.

 

 
The way its measured has changed over the years though. 'Kerb weight' used to just cover the vehicle with all fluids, ready to go etc. but no driver (as obviously the driver / passenger / loaded weight is all variable).
 
Most 'kerbweights' for new vehicles include a 75kg driver (think this an EU requirement, and usually noted), hence why a load of current 'hot hatches' are around 1,500kg (they are over-weight anyway!)
 
Either way, no chance it is near ~800kg without driver as people spend ££££ getting to that weight and requires lightweight clams, fully stripped interior etc. etc.
