Before I buy a complet new cable, maybe somone has this threaded corner piece on an old broken cable?
The swivelling piece that bolts onto the soft top side bar and has a thin (M3?) thread on it...

I'll think I have this - My front cable has broken (already bought a replacement) so I'll check tonight.
