I dunno Foxy. Not kept up with prices. Maybe thought the forum might have a better idea.

You have a car and you don't know what it's worth? You haven't looked on eBay, pistonheads, autotrader, sales page on here 🤣🤣

Meh, People don't do that anymore. They expect someone else to do it for them and feed them the answer.  It's the same everywhere. They also get p1ssed off when you point it out to them.

Only asking!  I've done the Autotrader/Pistonheads research, but the prices seem all over the place for turbos (and there's hardly any for sale).  Then there's the high mileage on mine, plus the mods.

I was asking for educated opinions.  I thought I'd find them on this forum.

It's worth what someone is prepared to pay for it, and what you're prepared to let it go for, I always have a figure in mind as to what I'd let mine go for, best approach is to look through the for sale ads on here and see what people have been asking for theirs

Really? You should expect sarcasm and condescension round these parts now..

There are so many variables with these cars, the 'high' mileage being a bit one, despite the fact it sounds well maintained..

I think around £10-11k is realistic. Autotrader, Pistonheads etc. don't provide the best snapshot tbh, and you usually find a number of cars hanging about for quite a while. The sale ads on here (as per most owners forums) can be highly variable as some cherish their cars and get an inflated sense of value, while others know they can't BS their way through a sale ad which the forum hawks will gladly point out.. :D

Condition is everything.  The mileage is irrelevant to me (I would say that as 175K odd )

Let's assume mine's the cheapest.  Big mileage, tatty body.  7-8K?

A good respray would be around 3-4K.  If it is good and the car presents well, I'd start around £14K.  Have the service and belt done and list what expense hasn't been spared.  Nobody's interested in £20 tweeters, why mention a £30 'intake pipe' etc
