I'm running a group buy for the Puffin Plastics front grille; usually £160 odd he will do them for £110 including delivery and stainless steel fixings but needs at least 10 to make it viable.

I'd be interested if this is actually happening (I'm not on FB)?

Guys, it happened. Ten grilles sent out to happy customers. It might be worth speaking to Puffin Plastics to see if Simon can arrange another.

@myles that is exactly what we are doing. If we get to 10 we will contact. It was clear it needed at least ten.

It wasn't obvious. Whoever is managing the whole thing should get in touch with Simon first; he may be happy to run it with lower numbers. He was really helpful and kept good lines of communication.

Nah no worries, my reply was a little abrupt. You'll all be over the moon, they are a great product and customer service is fantastic.

Hope they reply tomorrow, this is a bit time limited for me as I am most likely going to have the car clam off next weekend and would like to change the grille over then. Or, is it possible to remove the front V and add the new grille without having the clam taken off again?

The grille fits on the front of the chicken wire fitted grille; you don't need to remove the clam. If you are taking the clam off to remove the V then you don't need to keep it off until you receive the grille.

OK, Myles, can you remove the V without removing the clam?  I guess I should know this lol...

As I understand, the front V can only come off without removing the clam if you cut it away. Once cut off, it cannot be refitted?
