Oh cool - like Gran Turismo 3!Is this the system where you can dial in your chosen % wheelspin?
Sorry, I'm a bit of a GT3 addict... (where's the "I'm a geek get me out of here" icon?)

make sure you tell us how much WEIGHT all those gizmos carry....maybe so...but this system can be switched off.....and after hearing about gavins experience i just thought i would like to try it out!
all will be revealed on sunday!
yeah, being able to switch'em off is important for track use....road-wise it can save your ass when caught off-guard...
after all my tracking days, I now find myself driving a bit like a "grandaddy" on public road, really cannot get any fun speed-wise anymore, having seen the upper limits on track, so I now focus a lot on "enjoying the ride", and, amazingly, finding it quite pleasant indeed!!
much better for my licence and wallet!

How do you judge that. OfficeXP is a lot of money for a CD... A PC is just some electronics in a box. I bet the development effort that went into this is significant...Looks pretty cool - but a tad expensive for what is basically some simple electronics in a box.

I know. But if you think about the complexity of the electronics in there, compared to the complexity of the electronics in say a high spec stereo head unit with various sound filters and god know what else that only costs a third of the price...How do you judge that. In terms of algorithms, programming the traction control unit would be fairly simple compared to other "electronics in a box" I can think of. If you didn't mind having a full on PC and monitor sat on your passenger seat , you could probably come up with something similar fairly easily.
Agreed though, the development costs are probably significant and I shouldn't imagine they are shifting millions of these things.
As for Office-XP - Don't get me started on that...
