As these cars getting aged several pieces are difficult to be found. My company in Greece has aimed to do the possible to produce new parts and reproduce other that don't exist any more to keep these cars in shape for years.

All the cars i have seen till today have damaged wheel wells.Wider tyres, lowered chassis, excessive track use and road bumps destroy the plastic oem wheel wells. So we decided to reproduce these pieces out of carbon kevlar. We make wheel wells for 15.With this technology they resist on gravel rally cars.On the Speedster/vx220 we hope they will resist the lifetime of the car.Oem shape and form.

Ready to be produced.

This thing about the site is something i searched but not resolved yet.

The price at this moment is not a secret but we are at pre-production and need to finalize some last things and probably change a bit the fronts on the manufacture method.Price is going to be about 850-900 euros for all 4 once we are pleased with the production. Each set has different price front and rear. Some more days patience. We are doing out best.

Wouldn't it be lighter and cheaper to make these out of plastic?

i think one of the major concerns people will have it how flexible they will be when you are removing them or installing them..

maybe you could upload a video to youtube to show how easy they are to fit and just fit one on camera.

My worry would be though they are much harder they would wear your tyres through if you have too much lean or if they eventually did get damaged they would shred the tyre

They are basically the same shape, just cut-out different for the ABS module on LHD vs RHD...

You'd be surprised how much continued contact on a hard surface you have to make before it's destroyed.. as long as the contact point has no sharp edges you are good

Right , but I don't know what he has used to make the moulds.
If he used non ABS sides arch liners ( one LHD and one RHD) it's only a cutout.
It seems evident to do like this but who knows...

Hello.

Only LHD at the moment eventhough the differences are minor.

We make wheel arches the last 15 years. We make them for gravel rally cars and they resist several racing years without being damaged. At the gravel rally stage the rocks being shooted on them and the tyres rub on them after jumps or dives. On a car like the street driven and occasionaly tracked vx220 those pieces will last the life of the car or at least several years of abuse on track with lowered chassis and big slick tyres.I use the same tecnique to make them as i use when i do them for wrc cars.I have made 2 sets for a UK based WRC constructor last year.Kevlar and aramid are used to make the undercar armour on those gravel machines. The resist several years even though they touch the rocks and the ground and get beaten all the time during the special stage.

They mount as oem and have flexibility. They are made from original.

We have finalized the fronts and now they are perfect. We are ready to go into production next week.

For the RHD i just have to find someone that wants to send his originals from UK to replicate them.

The differences are in the abs module area.

For a track car it is not a big deal.

For a street car where the owner care to preserve original functionality and apearence it is important.
