It's been a very long time since I sold my VX and I've always regretted it.

I'm now tempted again. Particularly by YY05 XMU

https://www.pistonhe...28&cId=10562412

Does anyone here know anythings about it?

I've tried searching the forum and can't find a thread, which rather surprises me.

Thanks

Simon

There's definitely been something on it, due to it's munter looks.

Suggest you do a search on TVR Glen before much else though......

I know there has been issues with him but they can't all be bad that he sells as he is still in business? I would be concerned about longevity of the front light 'fix'

It has a missing rear diffuser, spoiler, left indicator light, mudflaps, frontflaps, aftermarket mesh in rear clam, cracked right rear lense, misaligned exhaust and broken fuel hose connector.

And that is only what i can see from the pictures.

Where was that movie again where they were revving the tits off it, without the radiator attached?

Do you really want to take that road?

That is one hideously ugly VX. There will be better elsewhere

Stay away from this!

Very unlikely that it’s 350bhp with those mods as well....

Just the wording of the add would have most knowledgable vX’ers Running away...

Surely the clues are in the advert, quote

”North east sports salvage black Vauxhall vx220 turbo

North east sports salvage black vx220
North east sports salvage black Vx220 turbo chassis
North east sports salvage black Vx220 turbo engine“

The reason he is still in business is because people who don't know what they are looking for blindly buy from there before coming here and speaking to people that know what they are looking at. He buys wrecks, does them up as cheaply as possible, sells at profit. Up to you if thats the sort of car you want. ALWAYS buy on condition not miles, not colour, not on 'quad headlights' and claimed bhp (remember any car can clock up high bhp, its delivering it safely without blowing up that is the thing).

That looks like an honest add, loved car, good specs and a nice way to spend your well earned.
