I recently changed the batteries on my alarm fob as they were weak.

I thought someone searching may find the battery type useful:

This fob needs two DL/CR 1220 3v.

Good Afternoon.

Nice information, thank you. How would a ham-fisted monkey like me that breaks plastic clips as soon as look at them   gain entry?

Just stick a fingernail or screwdriver in the join and prise apart. Mind you don't drop all the bits inside though!

It's always handy to have a spare set of these close to where you keep your keys! Nothing worse than when the car alarm is going off and the fob batteries are dead!

Changed mine a few weeks ago for the first time in 10 years!  Why on earth does it have to have 2 stacked on top of each other though

...cool, thanks, i have much experience in said operation..I diagnose, after a broken nail to the quick and screwdriver skewered hand..blue air, a coffee, a fag and returning with a determined effort not to use the hammer instead...at least i'm predictable ;)
