1 or 2 bhp won’t be noticeable
If you do fit a Apexi run it further into the side vent to get cold air flow and away from the hot engine bay.
Do do sounds amazing

I hated my Apexi, it was too loud.
I am running an huge KnN in the drivers side ear with heat shields between it and the turbo.

The problem with running an OEM type air box on the passenger side is all the unwanted heat soaking the intake pipe - poor design IMO.
Get rid of the fuel vapor box and associated junk and that leaves tons of space for the air filter.

im also running cones from the drivers side 2 pipecross , with shielded from engine bay to draw from the ear , and enjoy the induction noise which is actually louder on a 4500 rpm static reading than the exhaust

Just emailed him also...Thanks diatonic. I will be having a look in the coming weeks and assessing my options. I have sent Dave Hardwick a hopeful email too....
